At Ballyronan Boat Club, we have club sailing every Saturday afternoon and most Wednesday evenings. Many members choose to sail their own boats with others crewing alongside whilst others choose to sail a club boat.

A range of racing courses are designed to meet myriad conditions. We participate in club events as well as events organised by other clubs.

If you would like to learn how to sail and take part in club sailing, it’s easier to do than you may think. Ballyronan Boat Club runs a number of racing and training events and welcomes new members. You don’t have own a boat, the club have a number of suitable boats for beginners. In addition to the Club boats, many members with boats are always looking for crew.

Okay so how can you take part? If you complete the contact form we will get back to you shortly. Thereafter we will get you on the water for an initial trial session for free. After the first session we would require you to join the club.

Or if you’re down at the marina, speak to one of our members, who will be happy to point you in the right direction.

We look forward to seeing on the water.
